About Our Farm
Rooted in Family, Grown for the Community
Gallagher Orchards is a multigenerational family farm rooted in the heart of Leelanau County. Founded in 2022, the orchard is the latest chapter in a farming tradition that began in 1963. For decades, the Gallaghers have worked the land together—planting, growing, and harvesting with care. Farming is more than a business to us—it’s a way of life that brings our family together and connects us to our community. From season to season, we’re proud to provide fresh, local produce to neighbors near and far, and we’re grateful for the support that allows us to keep doing what we love.

Gallagher Family
Meet the Gallagher Family
The Gallagher family has deep roots in farming, spanning five generations of dedication to the land. It all began with Jordan Gallagher’s grandfather, Jack Gallagher, who first purchased and cultivated the very land where the family still grows their produce and fruit today. Jack’s legacy was carried forward by his son John, who expanded the farm through years of hard work and unwavering commitment.
Today, Jordan proudly continues the tradition as a fifth-generation farmer. Like the generations before him, Jordan is devoted to growing high-quality produce and fruit, honoring the values and work ethic passed down through his family.
Jordan lives on the family farm with his wife Colleen and their three children—Harper, Iris, and Redmond. Together, they are excited to carry on the Gallagher farming legacy, nurturing the land and the traditions that have shaped their family for generations.

Bumgardner Family
Meet the Bumgardner Family
Welcome! We’re the Bumgardner family—Lauren, Cory, Weston, and Brayden. Our journey together began in California, where Lauren and Cory first met in 2011. Just two years later, we were married and ready for a new adventure, which brought us to the beautiful town of Suttons Bay, Michigan, in 2013.
Lauren works at the local animal hospital, caring for pets and supporting the community’s furry family members. Cory is a dedicated farmer, working hard every day to nurture the land and provide for our family. Our son, Weston, and daughter, Brayden, bring energy, laughter, and joy to our lives—keeping things fun and always interesting!
Rooted in love, hard work, and small-town values, the Bumgardner family embraces each day with gratitude and a strong sense of togetherness. We’re proud of where we come from and excited for everything the future holds.
